Delivery Charges

When you spend more than $500 shopping online here at arbormaster.com.au, you qualify for FREIGHT FREE delivery and handling. 

Although this offer covers most of the items we sell online, this excludes international orders, orders outside mainland Australia (eg. Kangaroo Island, Lord Howe Island, Tasmania) and certain bulky items, such as (but not limited to) —

  • Power Equipment (chainsaws, brushcutters, trimmers, blowers, power pruners, mowers, etc.)
  • Kohler Engines
  • Poles and Pole Pruners that exceed a certain length
  • Ropes that exceed a certain weight (when purchased in bulk)
  • Log Lifters
  • THS Friction Drums
  • Hydraulic Log Splitters
  • Mulchers and Chippers
  • … other items that the Australian Post Office would normally add a surcharge on

When goods are ordered and the bill falls below $500, you shall be charged for all postage fees required for Arbormaster to deliver the items as quickly as possible to the destination address. On most of our items, this is set at a flat freight charge of $27.5. Remote location orders and orders outside mainland Australia (eg. Kangaroo Is, Lord Howe Is, Tasmania) may be charged an extra fee to cover delivery and handling costs. The shopping cart will provide you with the postage estimate during the checkout stage. If you consider that the delivery cost is too high, we may be able to arrange a cheaper alternative delivery method or you may want to cancel the order.  Feel free to contact us at 13000-ARBOR (1300 027 267) for a delivery quote on any product. Delivery

Note: Deliveries to P.O. Boxes are not available, please supply us with a residential/business address.

Generally, items are delivered within 3 to 5 business days, however, this may vary depending on location. Arbormaster make no guarantee once the goods have been passed on to third party couriers or the Australian Post Office. Arbormaster takes no responsibility for stock damaged or lost in transit. Arbormaster staff will assist you in tracking your goods where possible but final responsibility lies with the freight companies.

If an item is out-of-stock, you will be notified of any potential delivery delay. If an out-of-stock item is delaying a delivery of several other items in-stock, you will then have the option of waiting for the out-of-stock item to arrive, or splitting the deliveries. In the event of a split delivery, you agree to shoulder the cost of both deliveries.

Please note that many of our items are not deliverable to an apartment complex. On the checkout page, you will need to supply us with a street address for delivery. If you are not at home to receive your package at the time of delivery, the package will be left at your front door. You may specify a safer place but it must be easily accessible to a delivery person. This can be done at checkout page. If you would prefer us not to leave the item if no one is home, you may be charged a second delivery charge if no one is home at the time of delivery. NB: All packages will be left at the front door if no one is home at the time of delivery unless you notify us on at the checkout page.
